Las Islas Canarias disfrutan de un tiempo suave todo el año, la "eterna primavera" del Atlántico. Las máximas diurnas se sitúan en 20-23C en invierno y 26-29C en verano, con una variación estacional mínima de unos 6-7C. El mar se mantiene apto para el baño, desde unos 19C a finales del invierno hasta unos 24C en otoño. Las zonas más soleadas y secas son las costas del sur y las islas orientales y llanas (Lanzarote, Fuerteventura). Para sol invernal, de diciembre a marzo es la temporada alta; julio y agosto son los meses más cálidos y concurridos.

Short answer: the two eastern islands, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote, are the driest and most reliably sunny year-round, with only about 100-150mm of rain. For warmth plus big resorts, the sunny south of Gran Canaria and Tenerife wins. The crucial catch: on every island the south coast is sunny while the north is cloudier and greener, so which coast you pick matters as much as which island.

The Canary Islands are Europe's number-one winter-sun destination, with daytime highs of 20-23°C from December to February, mild nights around 15-18°C and a sea that stays a swimmable 19-20°C. The sunniest weather is on the southern coasts and the eastern islands of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, while the greener north sees more cloud and brief showers. Expect 10-11 hours of daylight, strong sun and the occasional hazy Calima day.
